Tobacco systems

An even cure, with less wasted fuel.

Our flagship system, and the one we used and improved on our own crop before selling it to other farms. Heat and air move evenly through the whole load, so the cure comes out the same end to end, with each lane run at its own temperature.

Why the whole system matters

How well a tunnel cures comes down to the whole system, not one part.

The building, the heat source, the fans, the trolley layout and how you load it all decide how the cure comes out. We work the whole system out together during the farm visit, then supply the drawings and working components that make it cure properly.

Key points03
  1. 01

Heat source, fans and airflow matched so the whole load cures evenly.

  2. 02

Trolley layout and loading planned around how you reap.

  3. 03

Comes with trolleys, traverses, white PPGI ceiling and two steel decked trailers.

How we think about it

A good cure comes from getting the whole system right.

01

Tunnel structure

Planned around the selected RS model, loading direction, access and future expansion where applicable.

02

Airflow package

Fans and air routes are matched to move air through the loaded tobacco rather than around it.

03

Heat transfer

Heat exchanger choices are made around curing capacity, fuel availability and efficiency.

04

Trolley handling

Trolleys and Talita clips help reduce loading time and keep the curing process more organised.

Common questions

Questions worth settling before you buy.

It depends on crop volume, available space, loading method, fuel supply and how much expansion you want to allow for. As a rough guide, the range covers around 10 to 70 Ha. Tell us your numbers and we'll point you to the right size.

Included with every system

Support comes with the system.

01

Farm visit and sizing

We look at crop, site, fuel, power, buildings and workflow before sizing the system.

02

Build check-ins

We supply the drawings and check the build at key stages while your builder handles the brickwork.

03

Season support

Calls, setup help, troubleshooting and practical advice are part of the system.

Talk to ROC Systems

Tell us about your farm and we'll size the tunnel.

Give us your crop volume, your site, the fuel you've got and how you load, and we'll match the tunnel, the airflow and the heating to it.
